Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they were a part of in Hamburg. They realized at the time that it was a perfect match. Ashley Hudson was 17 years old and hadn't ever had a relationship prior to that, so they decided to take their time. The love was apparent from the first site. The day before New Year's Eve, just ahead of the year's beginning, Andrew asked God to grant him one last thing that year... to ensure that Ashley could say yes and marry him. Ashley really wanted a woodsy folk-themed wedding that truly represented her as well as Andrew. The wedding combined everything that was important to the couple. Ashley's family owned 40 acre within their backyard. From the trail they walked across the fields they said "I do" in. Ashley had explored and played in all of it. Andrew and Ashley were also walking around in this spot several times since they started dating. Being that the wedding was essentially DIY, personalization played an important role. Andrew and Ashley's father designed the arch for the ceremony and seating, while Ashley was in charge of decorating and painting. Ashley states that we could never have the amazing wedding I had imagined if the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral design. Simply stunning.
